The Gezmataz Association is the brainchild of Marco Tindiglia who, with the joint effort of a group of friends, musicians and music enthusiasts, aims to create and promote musical events in their city, Genoa.
Established following the great success of the first Jazz Festival in Genoa, the association has the goal of continuing, in a coherent and unified approach, the proposition that began in 2004, when Genoa was the European city of culture. The idea of a single Jazz Festival and Workshop in Genoa, capable of bringing together, under one roof, different musical ideas, seeking a creative and free dialogue, without stylistic constraints.
Concerts are held in Piazza Delle Feste, a venue with 490 seats, located at the entrance to the Old Port, a magical place where the city appears in all its beauty.
